We propose the Shasta-Trinity project as the first of a series of projects that seek to enhance permeability along I-5 from Redding, CA to Ashland, OR.
Ultimately, we are spearheading a push to get the funding needed for additional research and the continued monitoring of wildlife-vehicle collisions. This would provide the information necessary to create effective wildlife crossings, making the region safer for both wildlife and traveling motorists in Northern California.
We are doing this through a combination of partnerships, fundraising, raising awareness and local informational outreach.
